On Sept. 6/07 I set out to cycle the Caledon Trailway from Terra Cotta to
Palgrave, about 36km. Several years ago, we did part of the trail, but nothing north of
Caledon East. One purpose of this trip was to view the new bridge over highway
#10. Here are some photos from this wonderful trail, and a surprising end to my
trip. After a cycle crash, we returned and got to Tottenham.

So with the crash into the ditch and destruction of the front wheel, the first
day ended near Heart Lake Road. The returned with a new wheel and completed the
trail to reach Tottenham. Wonderful trail, except for some degradation of
the trail surface north of highway 9. Having already replaced a rear wheel this
summer, Cathie suggests that I am purchasing a new bike, one piece at a time.
